"Triennial Expanded presents a wide range of approaches to the theme of Alliance, Infinity, Love – in the Face of the Other, spanning from the documentation of political events to family portraits. It links regional and international positions with one-another and creates new connections between artistic praxis, social debates and urban art spaces. The Triennial Expanded opens up perspectives on belonging, memory, resistance and new forms of living together. At the same time, the contributions reflect on the role of photographic images in contemporary social negotiation processes."
